I started a new job very recently, and I think I just don’t like work period. Ever since i was 16 and delivered pizzas, it’s never been an overly favored activity. The problem is that I was super duper bored when I was not working. While working might be less boring, it does give me undesired restrictions on how to schedule my life.
I suppose some form of flexible employment would be ideal in my mind.
Of course, maybe my issue is that I went right back into the industry that I have several years of experience in - instead of trying something new.
The problem is, like, even a stupid entry level job talking on the phones at Vanguard, they grill you with all these questions as if it it should be your dream job or something at the job interview.
I guess nobody wants to hire anyone because “it sounds fun and I want to try something different”, employers want to think that they have you by the balls.
I mostly took this job so that I can do some remodeling on my new place without dipping further into my portfolio. We’ll see how long I last. Roughly a month of working will pay for some dual pane windows.
