Recently there have been a few folks here hitting (or rapidly approaching) major life milestones, and yay for them I say.
@Diz earned his second comma, @Steve pulled the pin on his working life, I declared FI, and there are probably a bunch of others just as noteworthy who deserve an 'attaboy/girl... and possibly even a plug on @J.Money's attainment leaderboard.
The big question for the day is:
once you achieve your financial independence goals, what will you do next?
Before you answer, there are two elements to this:
1) What will you do on your victory lap? (e.g. the obligatory travel adventure, quitting your job, etc)
2) 6-12 months down the road, on a Tuesday morning when everyone else is slaving away at work/school, how will you be spending time? (e.g. unemployment television, running your own business, volunteering, running a FIRE/Personal Finance blogging empire, etc)
