Another boomer here who started late on the path to FI. The good news is that focused intensity can more than make up for a late start. It took ten years from the wake up moment to FI, and after that, net worth kept right on multiplying. I, too, was interested in meditation and existential issues, but, ironically, the personal finance wake up moment only occurred after the existential wake up. Here’s a hint from a long-time seeker: you’re not who you imagine you are because what you are cannot be imagined.
