I know there have been other threads on this topic but I am excited and want to share. We paid off our mortgage this week and it feels great, 100% debt free and loving it.
I resisted the temptation for years but finally succumbed to my desire to be completely debt free. It will be a short lived victory because we will be selling the house by the end of the year to pursue our early retirement travel dreams but for now it feels great.
