Hello everyone. So happy to be here.
I am JJ and I blog over at The Financial Graduate
I have been wanting to start a blog for a long time but have found a number of reasons to procrastinate (mainly a fear of putting myself out there, lack of time, feeling like there are already too many personal finance blogs etc etc.)
Currently, I am on maternity leave and have convinced myself that now is the right time to just go for it. I am 32 years old, married, have a professional career and a little baby boy who I adore (I feel like I am writing a profile for a dating site or something )
My blog is primarily aimed at young millennials and Gen Z-ers. Those who are graduating from high school or university, starting a career or even starting a family. Big transitions that can be super overwhelming, and often expensive!!
This blog is for you if:
You want to gain a basic understanding of your personal finances and avoid making major money mistakes
You want to learn how to make money, save money and stay out of debt
You could use a little help figuring out what you want to do next
You want to live life on your own terms and set yourself up to succeed in the real world
I have heard and experienced only great things from the personal finance community and am so happy to finally be a part of it.
I hope to connect with many of you in the near future.
