Looking for feedback on what we have going. We are both going to be 40 within a year or two and hopefully will retire at 55 and 60 years old. My wife and I both have pensions that will produce at least $85000 a year. There is a deferred comp account we have that has $112,000 in low cost index funds, a Roth with $28,000 in a Vanguard Target Fund, and a 529 plan with $18,000 in low cost index funds. We are in the mindset to fund our retirement first and not worry about paying for college.
We are investing $1100 a month ($500,$450,$150) between all three accounts.
The only debt we have is our mortgage which is around $175000. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or opinions on how this looks?
