So, I live in Pittsburgh, and our water is not so great. Essentially new treatment chemicals-->poor oversight--->corrosion of old pipes---> lead in water.
We didn't find out about it until years after the problem started. If you want to get into the nitty gritty of my anger here you go haha:
It's proven to be pretty bad since that was written, by the way. And for multiple reasons. They're switching who does our water here in western PA, but I don't know how/when they'll solve everything, though the city is trying.
My question is that I'm currently getting bottled water to drink, cook food with and brush teeth with. I'm a little bit concerned about bathing my children, too. There has to be a more cost-effective solution. Someone mentioned water delivery service, but I don't know what that is or how much it costs vs what we're doing now.
Does anyone know how to handle this better?
